Villa Tortuga is comprised of the main house (The lower apartment is Casa Tortuga and the upper apartment is Casa Pelicano) and the Tortuga Suites. The original idea of Villa Tortuga was to build a vacation rental we could live in for a portion of the year and rent out when we weren’t here. After the first few visits to Nosara, it was evident that we wanted this to be not just a vacation spot, but more like a second home. By limiting the availability of Casa Tortuga and Casa Pelicano we had to come up with another rental solution for guests.
This was the birth of the Tortuga Suites, apartment style rooms with the feel of home. Suite del Mar and Suite de la Luna, which are perfect for two couples or a family of four to five, have two bedrooms with full kitchens, living rooms, and surfboard storage to go along with spacious patios to lounge on day or night. Suite del Sol is great for two and we often have couples and buddies traveling together that rent this simple yet effective unit. If your group is large, but would prefer a little space between everybody, renting all three of our suites could be a great choice for your vacation in Playa Guiones.

We also manage our friends’ houses in the area directly around Villa Tortuga in case you have overflow guests or would like to have a place to stay outside our complex.
